I was being annoying at Chris’s baby shower and made everyone stare into my camera for a few seconds each. I wasn’t quite sure what I was going to do with the footage but I figured at the very least I could splice it all together for some memories of the day.
The first month of Carter’s life has been a completely exhausting, amazing, sleep deprived whirlwind. As tough as they say being a parent is, crank that knob to 11 and that sounds about right. Carter’s been growing at a brisk pace and I feel the need to make more of an effort to capture this guy’s life as it’s (too) quickly unfolding before my very eyes.

When I hold him I get sad thinking how he’s going to grow up to be a teenager that will ultimately hate me, so I’ve been doing my best to smother him now while he can’t talk or run away. Give me some love son!
I’m sure that everyone is wondering what Chris looks like while she’s pregnant and I’ll be the first to tell you, she looks the same but with a big ol’ baby gut. For those of you that are unable to share our pregnancy with us and watch her belly grow by the day, I decided to make a quick video of what she looks like at week 36. I probably should have done this earlier but better late than never, right? The song choice is a bit random but hey, I’m a random guy.

Are these not the cutest newborn shoes? Jordan 11 Space Jam’s…they make me smile every time that I see them. I wanted to take a picture of something of his and mine together and ended up with this shot.
